The Cumbria Clock Company was established in 1990 in the beautiful surroundings of the Lake District. The company specialises in all aspects of work connected with church clocks, public clocks, and tower clocks which includes the full restoration of clock movements dating from the 1500's to the manufacture and installation of master clock control systems linked to atomic clock at Rugby via a radio link.

The company has designed and put into manufacture it's own versatile epicyclic automatic winding systems which has sufficient power to drive most turret clocks, chiming machines and carillons.

Dial restoration is also undertaken, and is accomplished using rope access equipment and in this way passes on a significant saving to the customer by avoiding the high cost usually associated with scaffolding. The company also offers a design service for dials, and has an established wealth of knowledge and expertise to draw on.

Flexible bell chiming and night silencing units are also manufactured to fit most public and church clocks and can be supplied as standard units, or can be designed and manufactured to customer specific requirement.
